Installation of the Panasonic Script on an XP operating system:
1.Download ‘JLR PanasonicScript-Setup v16.zip’ from http://diagnosticdelivery.jlrext.com/idscentral to the SDD machine Desktop.
2.Double click ‘JLR PanasonicScript-Setup v16.zip’
3.From the ‘Folder Tasks’ Select ‘Extract all files’
4.The ‘Extraction Wizard’ will run, Select ‘Next’
5.Select a Destination to extract the files to and Select ‘Next’
6.Select ‘Finish’
7.Locate and double click Folder ‘V2.9.0.9’
8.Double click ‘PanasonicScript-Setup.exe’ (DO NOT select ‘PanasonicScript-Setup.exe.manifest’)
9.Several ‘MS Dos’ pop ups will be seen during this application
10.The machine will be rebooted automatically
11.Following the ‘Reboot’ there could be more ‘MS Dos’ pop ups, once these have completed, the script has been run successfully.

1. Download ‘JLR PanasonicScript-Setup v16.zip’ from http://diagnosticdelivery.jlrext.com/idscentral to the SDD machine Desktop.
2. Double click ‘JLR PanasonicScript-Setup v16.zip’
3. From the tool bar Select ‘Extract all files’
4. A pop up will be displayed ‘Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders, Select a Destination to
extract the files to and Select ‘Extract’
5. Locate and double click Folder ‘V2.9.0.9’

7. Several ‘MS Dos’ pop ups will be seen during this application
8. A pop up will be displayed – ‘Unit Reboot – Configuration is complete a reboot is required to finalise settings’ – Click ‘OK’ to reboot the unit
9. Following the ‘Reboot’ there could be more ‘MS Dos’ pop ups, once these have completed,
the script has been run successfully.

Installation of T4 Software (Land Rover 1995 > 2006 only)

1. Insert RDS 7 Disk.

3. Double click ’RunProgs.bat’.
4. Accept the installation of ‘Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1 package’.
5. Select ‘I agree’ to the ‘Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1 license agreement’.
6. Select ‘Install’.
7. ‘T4 Installer version’ will open.

8. Select ‘Set CD Drive letter Z’.
9. Select ‘Disk Management’.
10.Right Click and select ‘Change Drive Letter and Paths...’.
11.Select ‘Change’.
12.Select from the drop down box ‘Z’.
13.Go to ‘T4 Installer version’ and select ‘OK’.
14.RDS 7 will now install.
15.The Machine will restart automatically.

Installation of the Full SDD Software
1. Download the Full Installation file eg. ‘SDD_142.00_FULL.exe’.
2. Download and install all four VDF Installation files eg. ‘VDF_JA_142.00.exe’.
3. Download all available Software Updates and install the update in numerical order eg.‘SDD_142.01.exe’.
4. Download and install the current SPA Pinpoint tests eg. ‘SPA_142.00.exe’.
5. Restart the SDD Machine
To update from SDD 141.01 to SDD 142.00:
